Drive shaft vibration elimination

"Hi guys! I've been thinking about balancing my drive shaft on my car. I found this write-up , and it got me questioning, should I bother?

Balancing is pretty expensive. Maybe it's easier to just drive as is, and just change the shaft occasionally. Or is the vibration truly damaging that it's a smart investment?"
